Hola, ja ha arribat la lluna vella de Novembre i Olivariana ja és de ple a la collita de la temporada. A Olivariana fem la collita segons els següents principis: Lluna vella, sempre collint a ma amb colla d’amics i familiars, amb les borrasses penjant per evitar trepitjades i triant el fruit carnós i sense picada. Avui em collit la varietat Blanqueta de la Riera de Gaià i dilluns començarem la Empeltre de Grabuac, i després Sevillenca, Grossal, fins hi tot alguna Arbequina ens demana molta gent. Preveiem una collita aproximada de 1 Tn en total aproximadament aquest any. Una altra novetat per aquesta temporada serà intentar elaborar oliva negre arrugada. Veurem quina varietat queda més be i si n’encertem el procés. Gracies a tots per l’ajut l’escalf i suport ¡¡
Hello, old moon weeks of november are here and Olivariana is then in full collection season. We attach to the following rules: Old moon period, hand collection with group of friends and family, the fruit screen to be hang to avoid trampled and selecting the most beatifull and fruity olves, without fly bits. Today we collect Blanqueta variety from Riera de Gaià and next monday will start with Empeltre from Grabuac and later on Sevillenca and Grossal, and even some Arbequina, cause many people is asking fro them. We Plan aproximatelly 1.000 Kg of product this year. Another chanllenge for this season is try to elaborate wrinkled black olives. Lets see which variety and madurity point is better.
